HOST GUIDELINES
GENERAL
• Be present and engaged during your set
• Encourage tipping for the DJ and the club
• Handle issues quickly — eject/freeze/ban only when necessary
• Support other staff — we back each other up
• You may rez props during your set — clean them up when done
• Keep drama out of local chat
• Know your schedule
STYLE & VIBE
• Keep it raw, playful, and unapologetic
• Innuendo is welcome — cheeky, not sleazy
• Chaos is part of the brand, keep it fun not messy
• Avoid spammy caps lock, repetitive lines, or multi-line gestures
CHAT & CROWD
• Post notices 15–30 mins before each set and at halftime in both the VIP group and Discord #events
– Include DJ, Host, time, and music type
– Always attach the club landmark
• Hype tips for the DJ and the club
• Support your DJ by calling out requests and stirring the crowd
• Greet VIPs personally as they enter
• Say goodbye when they leave if possible
• Use live chat over gestures — keep gestures short and minimal
• Drive energy in local chat, match and enhance the DJ’s vibe
• Keep chat inclusive, no cliques — everyone belongs
TIMING
• Check in a half hour before your shift in Discord and/or staff group
• Be in the club and ready 15–30 minutes before your shift
• Stay for your entire set even if the club is empty
• Trading shifts is fine — inform Lacy of changes so SL events can be updated
• Do not no-show — call out for cover in Discord and/or staff group as far in advance as possible if needed
ENFORCEABLE RULES
• Don’t be an asshole — freedom ends where others’ rights begin
• Respect & Consent: no means no
• Adults Only: no child avatars allowed
• Dress Code: nudity is fine, but no visible erections
• Escalations: contact a manager directly inworld or on Discord
