DJ GUIDELINES
GENERAL
• Be present and engaged during your set
• Keep a backup playlist ready in case of issues
• Communicate with your host — you’re a team
• Encourage tipping for the host and the club
• Support other staff — we back each other up
• You may rez props during your set — clean them up when done
• Escalate issues to a manager if needed
• Know your schedule
MUSIC & STYLE
• Primary genres: Rock, Southern Rock, Alt Rock, Pop, Top Hits
• At least 70–80% of your set should stay in these styles
• Mix in requests, surprises, and your personal flavor
• Slow ballads, heavy metal, or niche tracks only as transitions or closers
• Read the floor and adjust — energy first, chaos welcome
• Keep it raw, playful, and unapologetic — Wild Angels style
STREAM
• Always connect using AutoDJ on Wild Angels Radio
– Official station, always on, never silent
• Personal streams only if AutoDJ fails
– Must be swapped back after your set
• If you need help, contact a manager
CHAT & CROWD
• Drive energy with your host — interact with the crowd
• Hype tips for the host and the club
• Keep chat inclusive and fun, no cliques
• Innuendo and chaos are welcome — cheeky, not sleazy
TIMING
• Check in a half hour before your shift in Discord and/or staff group
• Be in the club and ready 15–30 minutes before your shift
• Stay for your entire set even if the club is empty
• Trading shifts is fine — inform Lacy of changes so SL events can be updated
• Do not no-show — call out for cover in Discord and/or staff group as far in advance as possible if needed
ENFORCEABLE RULES
• Don’t be an asshole — freedom ends where others’ rights begin
• Respect & Consent: no means no
• Adults Only: no child avatars allowed
• Dress Code: nudity is fine, but no visible erections
• Escalations: contact a manager directly inworld or on Discord
